Fortnum & Mason Blanc De Noirs Extra Brut NV Champagne

The name \"Blanc de Noirs\" refers to a Champagne made from black grape varieties alone such as Pinot Noir and/or Meunier. Their flesh, and therefore the juice that will give its colour to the future Champagne wine, is white.

This Champagne was produced exclusively for upmarket department store, Fortnum & Mason.

Domaine Du Canal De Monsieur 1994 Chaume / Coteaux du Layon 2x75cl

Sweet Chenin Blanc from the distinct Loire Valley appellation of Coteaux Du Layon.

The wines of Coteaux du Layon are made from grapes that are very ripe, sun-dried on the vine, or affected by the \"Noble Rot\", botrytis cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the sweet wine. 

The Loire Valley appellation of Chaume is known from 2011 as Coteaux du Layon.

D'Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz 2006 McLaren Vale

Old-vine Shiraz from the McLaren Vale wine-region, just south of Adelaide; Matured for 22 months in new French and American oak barriques.

D’Arenbergs flagship wine, Dead Arm Shiraz, takes it's name from the Dead Arm vine disease caused by the fungus Eutypa Lata. One half of the vine slowly becomes reduced to dead wood when the grapes on the other side, while low yielding, display higher intensity.

Ferreira 'Extra Dry' NV White Port 100cl

An extra dry white port from the house of Ferreira.

White Ports are produced exclusively from white grapes - principally Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Donzelinho and Gouveia - and can be made in either a sweet or fruity-dry style. The sweet version is the traditional style of White Port.

2017 vintage sparkling made from a blend of Pinot Blanc, Muscat and Riesling from California's Monterey County AVA.

Sancerre is a small appellation located in the eastern part of the Loire valley famous for it's world renowned Sauvignon Blanc- although it also produces reds and rosé from Pinot Noir. Almost all of the appellation lies on the left bank of the Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé

Domaine Clos des Rochers 'Domaine Tradition' Auxerrois 1999 Moselle Luxembourgeoise

White wine made from the Auxerrois grape from Germany's famous Mosel river valley. This wine is likely sweet or semi-sweet in style, however this cannot be confirmed. 

Spätlese is the the lightest of the German late harvest wines, produced from slightly-late-harvested grapes and may be either sweet or dry. If “Trocken” is noted on the label you can assume it's a dry style.

Fleuron 1978 Barsac 37.5cl

Sweet wine from the Barsac appellation located in the southwest of France. 

The wines of Sauternes and Barsac are produced from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Daniel Schuster Hull Family Vineyard Late Harvest Riesling 2006 Waipara, New Zealand 37.5cl

Sweet Riesling from the Gladstone sub-region within the central Wairarapa region, on the North Island of New Zealand. 

These grapes have been affected by noble rot, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the sweet wine.
