Paitin 'Sorì Paitin' 2000 Barbaresco

Nebbiolo from the renowned Piedmont region of Italy. 

DOC Barbaresco is one of the great - yet largely unsung - wines of Italy.  Similar to it's more famous neighbour, Barolo; Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo grapes and must be aged for a minimum of 26 months (at least 9 months in wooden barrels) prior to release.

Bollinger 'Special Cuvée' Champagne / James Bond 007

A limited edition Champagne from the renowned House of Bollinger.

Released to celebrate the historic partnership between Bollinger and 007 and the release of the 25th Bond film, No Time To Die.

Founded in 1829, Bollinger is one of the last independent Champagne houses. The house continues to be run by members of the Bollinger family to this day. The House’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir which is dominant in their wines. 

Bodegas Rodai 2009 Rioja Reserva 

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 12 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

San Polo 2017 Brunello di Montalcino 2x75cl

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release.

Barale Fratelli 'Castellero' 1976 Barolo 2x75cl

Barolo, often referred to as the “king of wines”,  must always be made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes-, and matured for a minimum period of 38 months, 18 of which must be in oak barrels - (traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks).

Barolo wine comes from a traditional village of the same name located in the northern region of Piemonte. It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piemonte, Most of the estates are small and family-owned, therefore production of wines from the Barolo DOCG is low.

This wine is from the single vineyard of Castellero.

Schubert Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Riesling Spätlese 2017 Mosel 3x37.5cl

Sweet Riesling from the Abtsberg single vineyard of the centuries-old former Benedictine monastery of Maximin Grünhaus on the outskirts of Mertesdorf on the Ruwer tributary of the Mosel.

Spätlese is the the lightest of the German late harvest wines, produced from slightly-late-harvested grapes and may be either sweet or dry. If “Trocken” is noted on the label you can assume it's a dry style.

Borges and Irmao 1985 Vintage Port

1985 vintage port from Borges & Irmão, formally known as António Nunes Borges & Irmão, who founded The Sociedade dos Vinhas Borges in Porto in 1884 by two brothers, António and Francisco Nunes Borges.

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Benanti 'Rovittello' Etna Rosso 2005 Etna

A red wine blend of old vine Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from the Etna DOC located on the Italian island of Sicily.

Etna covers the slopes of Mount Etna, the 3330 meter volcano (the biggest active volcano in Europe) that dominates the Italian island of Sicily. 

San Vicente 2019 Rioja

Single vineyard Tempranillo from the northern Spanish DOC of Rioja; Aged for 20 months in new oak (90% French and 10% American).

A scarce, delicate variety, Tempranillo Peludo was rescued from an almost sure extinction by the Señorío de San Vicente winery in the early 1980s. This winery is located next to its vineyards in the city of San Vicente de La Sonsierra, in Rioja Alavesa.

Saint Clair 'Godfrey's Creek Reserve' Noble Riesling 2018 Marlborough 4x37.5cl

Sweet Riesling from the region of Marlborough in the northeast of New Zealand's South Island.

The grapes were affected by the \"Noble Rot\", botrytis cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Hands of Time is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with small amounts of Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot which is matured for 21 months in French oak barrels.

Cabernet Sauvignon from the South Australian wine region of Coonawarra, located about halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Aged for 20 months in new fine-grained barrels.

St Hallett 'Old Block' Shiraz 2007 Barossa Valley

Old-vine Shiraz from the renowned Barossa Valley in South Australia.

Old Block was first made in 1980 from the St Hallett Old Block vineyard. To qualify for the Old Block Shiraz, the vineyards must be planted on their own rootstock and be more than 50 years of age. The oldest vineyard used to create this wine was planted in 1856 whilst the youngest 1963.

From the Tuscan (Toscana) wine-region of Italy. Made from a fairly even blend of Pugnitello, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verot: aged for 24 months in French oak barriques. 

Vigorello was first made in 1968 and was one of the the first \"Super-Tuscan\" wines - being made from grape varieties not native to Tuscany.

Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier Ayler \"Kupp\" Riesling Auslese 1983 Mosel

Semi-sweet Riesling from the single vineyard, Kupp by the village of Ayl on the north bank of the River Saar in Germany's Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine-region.

The Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier estate was born from the union of 3 renowned German estates unified in 1966: Bischöfliches Konvikt (created in 1840), Bischöfliches Priesterseminar (created in 1773) and Hohe Domkirche (created in 1851).

Auslese is typically a medium-sweet style of German wine, made from late-harvested grapes.

Seghesio Family Vineyards Zinfandel 2009 Cortina

Seghesio Family Vineyards is a wine producer based in California's Sonoma Valley. It is best known for its wines made from the Zinfandel grape variety.

The estate was founded in 1895 with the original 53-hectare (130-acre) Home Ranch vineyard. The estate was extended during the mid 20th Century with vineyards that had previously sold fruit to Seghesio

Sieur d'Arques 'Cuvée Reservee' Brut 1998 Vintage Crémant de Limoux

1998 vintage sparkling wine made in the traditional method from the appellation of Crémant De Limoux within the city of Limoux in Languedoc, France. 

Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. 

Sieur d'Arques is a wine producer cooperative located in Limoux.
