Niederösterreich, or Lower Austria, is the largest wine producing region in the country and is known for its white wines made from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling grape varieties. The region's diverse terroir, including the Wachau, Kamptal, and Kremstal sub-regions, provides ideal growing conditions for producing high-quality and distinctively flavoured Niederösterreich wines.
