From the appellation of Pauillac, Château Lynch-Bages is a 5th Growth (5ème Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Médoc.
This 2005 vintage is made from a blend of: 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot: aged for 15 months in 80% new French oak barrels.

Château Lynch-Bages is a wine estate located in the Pauillac appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France. The Lynch-Bages vineyard, overlooking the Gironde estuary, was formerly owned by the illustrious Lynch family, of Irish descent. It was acquired by the Cazes family in 1939.
