The history of Alsace, flitting between French and German ownership for centuries, imparts itself within the region's wines - a cacophony of grapes native to both countries, ennobled and respected individually, and produced in a common aromatic style.

Gewurztraminer is one of the 4 \"Noble Grapes\" of Alsace; this wine hailing from the Grand Cru vineyard of Goldert by the village of Gueberschwihr.

Château Duhart-Milon 1971 Pauillac 4eme-Cru / Baron de Rothschild Lafite

From the Pauillac appellation, Château Duhart-Milon is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. Located close to Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, Ch. Duhart-Milon was purchased by the Rothschild (Lafite) family in 1962 - briefly thereafter renamed Ch. Duhart-Milon-Rothschild.

This wine is a classic left bank Bordeaux-blend of 60-80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20-35% Merlot: matured for 14 months in 50% new oak. 

Châ​teau Lascombes 1981 Margaux 2eme-Cru 3x75cl

Château Lascombes is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is often considered a \"Super Second\" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.

Château De Beaucastel 1988 Chateauneuf-Du-Pape

Chateauneuf-Du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations.  Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines with Syrah and Mourvèdre lead the cast of supporting grapes. White wines are also produced in exceedingly smaller volumes.

Château de Beaucastel is one of the best known estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It's red Châteauneuf du Pape includes all 13 varieties of the appellation.

The blend for their Châteauneuf du Pape red is approximately; 30% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% and the remaining is made up from a mix of the other permitted varieties.

Moulin de Duhart is the second wine of Chateau Duhart Milon, a Pauillac, which is owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite).

Château De Saint Cosme 2000 Gigondas 3x75cl

Grenache dominant blend from the classic Southern-Rhône appellation of Gigondas: matured for 12 months in 20% new casks. 

Typically a blend of around 70% Grenache with Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault.

Château Léoville Barton 1975 Saint Julien 2eme-Cru

Château Léoville Barton is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate which lies within the iconic terroir of Saint Julien in the Médoc. It is now one of only two chateau's from the 1855 Classification of the Medoc that remains in the hands of the same family that owned it at the time it was classified.

A classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, matured in oak barrels for a period of 16-18 months in 60% new oak. 

Dow's 1975 Vintage Port

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character.  Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

One of the great houses of Port- the name Dow has been associated with quality Port wine from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley for over two centuries.

Château La Lagune 1982 Haut-Medoc 3eme-Cru

From the semi-regional appellation of Haut-Medoc, Chateau La Lagune is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Croft 1960 Vintage Port

Founded in 1588 by John Coft of Yorkshire, Croft is one of the most well known and respected of all Port houses which is still active today.

Campo Viejo 1985/1990 Rioja Reserva 6x75cl

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 12 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

Deinhard 'Rudesheimer Berg Rottland' Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 1967 Rheingau

Sweet Riesling from the single vineyard, Rüdesheimer Berg Rottland, by the village of Rüdesheim in the Rheingau region in west-central Germany.

Trockenbeerenauslese, or TBA for short, translates to \"dry berry selection\". Made from handpicked individually selected fully ripe or overripe grapes, which the best are infested by noble rot. It is the absolute sweetest style of German wine and an utterly rare delight.

Château Gruaud-Larose 1970 St-Julien 2eme-Cru / Cordier

Château Gruaud-Larose is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-blend; Matured for 16-18 months in approximately 30% new French oak barrels.

This is a bottling by the historic French négociants, Cordier.

Château Haut-Batailley 2010 Pauillac 5eme-Cru

From the Pauillac appellation, Château Haut-Batailley was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate of Pauillac in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Château Batailley is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux. In 1942 it was divided into the two separate estates that we know today; Chateau Batailley and Chateau Haut Batailley.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels (55% new) for approximately 16-18 months.

Chateau Langoa Barton is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wine is typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70-75%), Merlot (15-20%), Cabernet Franc (5-10%) and Petit Verdot (0-5%); matured in oak barrels for a period of approximately 18 months.

Domaine Weinbach 'Clos des Capucins' Tokay Pinot Gris 1989 Alsace 2x75cl

Pinot Gris from the single walled vineyard of Clos des Capucins in the eastern French wine-region of Alsace. The historic Domaine Weinbach was first established as the Capuchins monastery in 1612.

For several centuries, Alsatian Pinot Gris wines carried the name Tokay d'Alsace ot Tokay Pinot Gris.
