Ken Forrester 'The FMC' Chenin Blanc 2022 Stellenbosch 3x75cl

Single vineyard, old vine Chenin Blanc from South Africa's acclaimed Stellenbosch wine-region: matured for 12 months in new 400 litre French oak barrels.

La Rioja Alta 'Viña Ardanza' 2009 Rioja Reserva 150cl

Tempranillo dominant blend from the Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine must be matured for a minimum period of 12 months in oak barrels.

As is common for La Rioja Alta, this wine was matured for a period of 30-36 months- far exceeding the minimum requirements for classification as a Reserva.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Krohn 1989 Colheita Port

Colheita Port is similar to Vintage Port in that it is produced from the crop of a single exceptional year.  However, while Vintage Ports spend only a brief 2 years in large oak vats and the majority of their ageing in bottle, Colheita Ports are matured exclusively in smaller oak barrels for as many years as the producer deems necessary.

Krohn Port House was founded in 1865 by two Norwegian cousins. Over the following 150 years, the firm built up an outstanding reputation for its cask-aged Ports, in particular its colheitas and single harvest tawnies. Today the port house produces a full range from White Port, Ruby, Vintage, Late Bottled Vintage, Tawny to old Colheitas. 

Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut NV Champagne 150cl

Non-Vintage Champagne from the iconic House of Laurent-Perrier.

La Cuvée is a Chardonnay dominant blend which is matured for around 4 years in Laurent-Perrier 's cellars prior to release. 

Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is the main company of the Laurent-Perrier Group, whose other flagship brands include the houses of Salon, De Castellane and Delamotte

Lagunilla 2000 Rioja Gran Reserva 3x75cl

Tempranillo dominant blend from the Rioja region in northern Spain. Classified as a Gran Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 24 months in oak barrels.

Pinot Noir from the regional appellation of Burgundy; matured for 18 months in oak. 

Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious vignerons in all of Burgundy.

Volnay wine is produced in the commune of Volnay in Côte de Beaune of Burgundy, and in some vineyards in the commune of Meursault.

Kalleske 'Johann Georg' Old Vine Shiraz 2005 Barossa Valley

Seriously old vine Shiraz from South Australia's famed Barossa Valley.

Johann Georg is a single vineyard shiraz which comes from ancient vines from a vineyard of the same name- a low-yielding one-hectare vineyard block planted in 1875.

Château Léoville Barton 1962 Saint Julien 2eme-Cru

Château Léoville Barton is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate which lies within the iconic terroir of Saint Julien in the Médoc. It is now one of only two chateau's from the 1855 Classification of the Medoc that remains in the hands of the same family that owned it at the time it was classified.

A classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, matured in oak barrels for a period of 16-18 months in 60% new oak

Louis Jadot 2018 Pouily Fuisse 2x75cl

Chardonnay from the Burgundian appellation of Pouilly-Fuissé: matured for 8-10 months in oak barrels. 

The Pouilly-Fuissé appellation was created in 1936 and exclusively produces white wines from 100% Chardonnay, often with a clear oak influence. Not to be confused with the Loire's Pouilly-Fumé which is Sauvignon Blanc based.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile's Colchagua Valley: aged for 12-18 months in up to 50% new oak barrels. 

The Los Vascos estate was purchased by the Rothschild family in 1988.

Louis Jadot Meursault

Chardonnay from the iconic Burgundian appellation of Meursault. The Louis Jadot village Meursault is matured for 15 months in 1/3 new oak barrels. 

Founded in 1859 in Beaune, Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious vignerons in all of Burgundy.

Krohn 1995 LBV Port

1995 Late Bottled Vintage Port from the house of Krohn. Bottled in 1999.

Late Bottled Vintage Port (LBV) is a specific style of Ruby Port in which the fortified wine - from a single, specified vintage - is aged for an extended period of time before bottling.  Unlike Vintage Ports, LBV Ports do not continue to mature in the bottle.

Louis Latour 'Les Genièvres' 2006 Mâcon-Lugny

Chardonnay from the single vineyard of Les Genièvres within the Burgundian appellation of Mâcon-Lugny: matured for 8-10 months in stainless steel vats. 

The Latour family have long been established in Burgundy’s wine trade. Originally vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1768, they went on to establish today’s business, Maison Louis Latour. Today they are one of the best known and largest vineyard owners of grand cru sites in Burgundy.

Kerpen 'Wehlener Sonnenuhr' Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese 2001 Mosel 37.5cl

Sweet Riesling from the single vineyard, Sonnenuhr by the village of Wehlen in the Germany's famous Mosel river valley.

Trockenbeerenauslese, or TBA for short, translates to \"dry berry selection\". Made from handpicked individually selected fully ripe or overripe grapes, which the best are infested by noble rot. It is the absolute sweetest style of German wine and an utterly rare delight.

Les Trois Moulins De Cantemerle was the second wine from the 5th-Growth (5eme-Cru) Haut-Medoc estate, Chateau Cantemerle, prior to being renamed Les Allées de Cantemerle.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 12 months.

La Face Cachée de la Pomme 'Neige Récolte d'Hiver' Winter Harvest Apple Ice Wine Canada 37.5cl

A super sweet ice cider from Quebec, Canada.

Made in much the same style and process as the famed Ice Wine;

Ice wine is a particularly decadent style of sweet wine, in which the grapes are left of their vines for an extended period of time, well into the winter, and are only picked - by hand and in the middle of the night - after a suitable period of constant cold temperatures.  The water content within the grapes thus freezes and the grapes are carefully pressed shortly after picking to draw only the sweet sugary pulp.

Les Caves de Bennwihr Gewurztraminer Selection De Grains Noble 1989 Alsace 37.5cl

Sweet Gewürztraminer from the eastern French wine-region of Alsace.

The grapes were affected by the \"Noble Rot\", botrytis cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Kereskedőház 'Grand Selection' Késői Arany Late Harvest 2013 Tokaji 50cl

The wines of Tokaji are produced from the Furmint grape, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.
