Brut Premier represents Louis Roederer's 'House Style'. It is a blend of approx. 40% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier from various crus selected by Louis Roederer and is aged for 3 years.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Tempranillo dominant blend from the Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine must be matured for a minimum period of 12 months in oak barrels.

As is common for La Rioja Alta, this wine was matured for a period of 30-36 months- far exceeding the minimum requirements for classification as a Reserva.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
