Château Meyney is situated in the St-Estèphe appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France.
Château Meyney has a long history starting in the 17th century. At that time, the Bordeaux wine estate belonged to the monks who planted the first vines at Meyney in about 1660.
France is widely recognized as one of the world's premier wine-producing countries, renowned for its diverse range of wine styles and regions, including Champagne, Bordeaux, and Burgundy.
Cru Bourgeois is a quality classification for Médoc wines in Bordeaux, recognising estates outside the 1855 Classification. Awarded annually based on production standards and blind tasting, it highlights reliable wines offering quality and value within the region.
