Vieux Château Certan 1992 Pomerol 6x75cl

Typically a Merlot dominant, right-bank Bordeaux-blend from one of the oldest wine estates in the appellation of Pomerol; Matured for approximately 20 months in 50% new French Oak barrels.

Pomerol is the only major Bordeaux appellation that is not classified, however Vieux Château Certan has long been recognised among the great growths of the region. The wines come from a single-block vineyard of 14 hectares (35 acres) with an average vine age of roughly 50 years.

Villa Antinori 1967 Chianti Classico 2x72cl

Sangiovese dominant from the famed Chianti Classico in the heartland of Tuscany, renowned as the original area of Chianti - and, since 1924, identified as such by the stamp of a black rooster on gold.

Chianti Classico wines must contain a minimum of 80% of Sangiovese. The remainder can be made from native grapes such as Canaiolo or Colorino, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Wines made only from Sangiovese have been permitted since 1996.

Yalumba The Octavius Shiraz 2004 Barossa Valley

Matured in Yalumba coopered oak octaves; the inspiration behind the name of this wine from Australia's famous Barossa Valley, located to the north of Adelaide.

Non-vintage champagne from the iconic House of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. 

Founded in 1772 and based in Reims, Veuve is one of the largest and most renowned Champagne houses in the world. Veuve’s Yellow Label champagne is a blend of 50 to 60 parcels of cru grapes, up to 45% being Reserve.

The company was purchased in 1986 by Louis Vuitton (now part of the LVMH group formed in 1987)

Il Poggione 2017 Brunello di Montalcino

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release.

Young's Vineyard Muscat Canelli 1997 Shenandoah Valley, California Sweet Wine 2x37.5cl

Sweet dessert style wine made from post-harvest frozen Muscat grapes from California, western United States. 

Vina Maria 1996 Rioja Reserva 3x75cl

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 12 months in oak barrels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

This particular wine was  matured for 3 years in American oak and selected by Tesco supermarket store.

Sweet, lightly sparkling Moscato from the province of Asti in northwest Italy.

Moscato d'Asti is a DOCG sparkling white wine made from the Moscato bianco grape and produced mainly in the province of Asti, northwest Italy, and in smaller nearby regions in the provinces of Alessandria and Cuneo. The wine is sweet and low in alcohol, and is considered a dessert wine.

Il Bruciato 2011 Bolgheri

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant  Super-Tuscan wine from DOC Bolgheri in the south-east of Tuscany Part of the Guado al Tasso estate, Il Bruciato was first produced in 2002

The wine is a modern interpretation of Bolgheri’s unique terroir made from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes from Guado al Tasso’s vineyards.
