Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured for approximately 18 months in French Oak barrels (50% New).

Located in the appellation of Saint-Julien, the prestigious Château Beychevelle is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Beychevelle means “lower sails\" and was named in honour of Jean-Louis Nogaret de la Valette (Duke of Eperon) - the first owner of Beychevelle, who was also a Navy Admiral of France. Today the Chateau is owned by Grands Millésimes de France (Castel and Suntory Group) and managed by Aymar de Baillenx.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Non-vintage sparkling wine from England, UK, made in the style - and same, traditional process- of Champagne, from France.

Chapel Down Brut is a Chardonnay dominant blend made from grapes sourced from vineyards in Kent, Essex and East Sussex. Matured on fine lees for 6 months before bottling, followed by a further 18 months in bottle before release. 

Of all non-Champagne sparkling wines, many of those produced in the south of England come closest in terms of style and quality.  With similarities in soils and climates, grape varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) which grow well, and method of production, it is natural that flavour will follow also.

The wines of Sauternes and Barsac are produced from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Chateauneuf-Du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations.  Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines with Syrah and Mourvèdre lead the cast of supporting grapes. White wines are also produced in exceedingly smaller volumes.

Château de Beaucastel is one of the best known estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It's red Châteauneuf du Pape includes all 13 varieties of the appellation.

The blend for their Châteauneuf du Pape red is approximately; 30% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% and the remaining is made up from a mix of the other permitted varieties.
