Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels, classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-blend from the left-bank appellation of Saint Estèphe; This wine is typically aged for 14-16 months in 35-50% new French oak. 

Châ​teau Les Ormes de Pez is owned by the Cazes family, also owners of the renowned Château Lynch-Bages.

These 12 bottles are presented in their original wooden case.

Château Lagrange 2018 St-Julien 3eme-Cru 4x75cl

From the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Lagrange is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc; Aged for approximately 20 months in 50% new French oak. 

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend featuring a substantial volume Merlot; matured in French oak barrels for 20 months.

Today the Chateau is owned by the Japanese liquor giant Suntory.

Château Lynch-Moussas 1976 Pauillac 5eme-Cru 300cl

From the Bordeaux left-bank appellation of Pauillac, Chateau Lynch-Moussas is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Typically a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot; Matured for approximately 15-20 months in 50% new French oak barrels.

This is a 3 litre double magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Château Lynch-Bages 1998 Pauillac 5eme-Cru

Château Lynch-Bages is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Château Lynch-Bages is also the name of the red wine produced by this property. The wine produced here was classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in oak barrels for a period of 12 months.

Château Chantalouette 2005 Pomerol 10x75cl

Château Chantalouette is the second-wine from Château-De-Sales in Bordeaux' Right-Bank appellation of Pomerol and is owned by the renowned Moueix family: newer vintages are aged in a combination of concrete vats and oak barrels. 

The vineyards are planted with 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon - a ratio to which the wine can be expected to follow with slight vintage variation.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 1979 St-Julien 2eme-Cru 2x75cl

From the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and frequently regarded as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\".

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for approximately 18 months in 60%-70% new oak.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is one oldest estates in the Medoc dating back to the 13th century. The 75-hectare vineyard has an average vine age of 35 years, however, Ducru-Beaucaillou also has old vines. Their oldest plot is the Les Sadons parcel was planted all the way back in 1918.

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release

Carruades De Lafite 1997 Pauillac

From the Pauillac appellation and ranked as one of the original four 1st Growths (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - prior to sister-estate Mouton-Rothschild's promotion in 1973 - Chateau Lafite-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.

Carruades De Lafite is the second-wine from Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, with the grapes sourced from neighbouring vineyards and the wine featuring a blend of 50-70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30-50% Merlot and 0-5% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, only 80% of the wine matures briefly in oak before final blend.

Château Cos D'Estournel 1970 St-Estephe 2eme-Cru

Château Cos D'Estournel is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently referred to as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.

From the oldest vines with an average of 55 years, this is a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60-65%) and Merlot (35-40%), occasionally with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and/or Petit Verdot.

Charles Heidsieck 'Blanc Des Millénaires' Blanc-de-Blancs 1990 Vintage Champagne

1990 vintage Champagne from the House of Charles Heidsieck.

The history of the house can be traced back to the original Heidsieck and Co., which was split into three different operations- Charles Heidsieck, Piper-Heidsieck and Heidsieck & Co Monopole. The Charles Heidsieck Champagne House was founded in 1851 by Charles Camille Heidsieck who became affectionately known as \"Champagne Charlie\".

Blanc-De-Blancs wines are made exclusively from white grapes- nearly always from 100% Chardonnay grapes.

Château Duhart-Milon 2001 Pauillac 4eme-Cru / Baron de Rothschild Lafite 2x75cl

From the Pauillac appellation, Château Duhart-Milon is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. Located close to Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, Ch. Duhart-Milon was purchased by the Rothschild (Lafite) family in 1962 - briefly thereafter renamed Ch. Duhart-Milon-Rothschild.

This wine is a classic left bank Bordeaux-blend of 60-80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20-35% Merlot: matured for 14 months in 50% new oak.

From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Pauillac, Chateau d'Armailhac is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Purchased by the Rothschild family in 1934, the Chateau has historically produced under the names Mouton Baron Philippe, Mouton Baronne Philippe and Mouton d'Armailhac.

The wines feature the classic Bordeaux grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; unusually however, vintage variation is significant with a majority being contributed from any one of these 3 grapes; matured in oak barrels for 14-16 months.

Château Beychevelle 1971 St-Julien 4eme-Cru 150cl

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured for approximately 18 months in French Oak barrels (50% New).

Located in the appellation of Saint-Julien, the prestigious Château Beychevelle is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Beychevelle means “lower sails\" and was named in honour of Jean-Louis Nogaret de la Valette (Duke of Eperon) - the first owner of Beychevelle, who was also a Navy Admiral of France. Today the Chateau is owned by Grands Millésimes de France (Castel and Suntory Group) and managed by Aymar de Baillenx.

Chapel Down Brut NV English Sparkling 4x75cl

Non-vintage sparkling wine from England, UK, made in the style - and same, traditional process- of Champagne, from France.

Chapel Down Brut is a Chardonnay dominant blend made from grapes sourced from vineyards in Kent, Essex and East Sussex. Matured on fine lees for 6 months before bottling, followed by a further 18 months in bottle before release. 

Of all non-Champagne sparkling wines, many of those produced in the south of England come closest in terms of style and quality.  With similarities in soils and climates, grape varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) which grow well, and method of production, it is natural that flavour will follow also.
