The wines from the legendary Château Lagrange in the Bordeaux appellation of Pomerol are classic right-bank blends of Merlot (90-100%) with Cabernet Franc.
Château Lagrange was purchased in 1953 by the renowned Jean-Pierre Moueix- owners of the famed Château Pétrus. Confusingly there is an unrelated estate of the same name located in the appellation of Saint-Julien.
