Château Lagrange - Pomerol

Château Lagrange in the Bordeaux appellation of Pomerol was purchased in 1953 by the renowned Jean-Pierre Moueix, owner of the legendary Château Pétrus. Confusingly, there is an unrelated estate of the same name located in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Médoc. The wines of Château Lagrange à Pomerol are classic Right Bank blends, dominated by Merlot (typically 90–100%), with small proportions of Cabernet Franc.
