Godolphin is a blend of old vine Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from iconic winemaker, Ben Glaetzer, in the Barossa Valley just north of Adelaide.
This wine is a blend of 80% Shiraz (from 85-year-old vines) and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (from 60-year-old vines); Aged for 14 months in 100% new oak.
The exceptional 2005 vintage was the final year Godolphin was produced, before being rebranded as Anaperenna.
This family-owned boutique Glaetzer Wines was founded in 1995 by Colin Glaetzer, today the winery is run by respected winemaker and son of Colin, Ben Glaetzer. Ben sources all fruit from the northern sub-region of the Barossa, Ebenezer, which is known for its ancient dry-grown vineyards.
