Penfolds Grange 1999 South Australia

Old-vine Shiraz and small quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes for this wine were sourced from vineyards throughout South Australia including the world-renowned Barossa Valley; Matured in new American Oak hogsheads for 17 months.

Penfolds is one of Australia's great iconic wineries and has been making world renowned wines since 1844. It was established at Magill Estate in the Adelaide Hills in 1844 by Dr Christopher Rawson Penfold and his wife Mary who In the early years, produced and sold fortified wines. Today Penfolds offer a huge variety of wines ranging from entry-level to premier offerings such as their flagship \"Grange Hermitage\", or simply \"Grange\" since the 1990s. On its 50th birthday in 2001, Grange was listed as a South Australian heritage icon.

Perrier-Jouët \"Belle Époque\" 1983 Vintage Champagne

1983 vintage Champagne from Perrier-Jouët's prestige brand, Belle Époque.

Belle Époque was first created in 1964. The iconic bottles are decorated with Japanese white anemones flowers created by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902. Until the year 2011, “Perrier-Jouët \"Belle Époque\" was labelled as 'Fleur de Champagne' in the USA.

Le Petit Mouton De Mouton-Rothschild 1996 Pauillac

Le Petit Mouton is the second wine from the 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. Produced since the 1993 vintage, it takes it's name after the residence of its owner, Philippine de Rothschild.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend - sourced from younger vines than used in their grand vin; matured in oak barrels for an undisclosed period of time.

Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.  In spite of its prominence, the estate was listed as only a 2nd-Growth in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - an injustice that was finally confirmed with their promotion to the exclusive rank of 1st-Growth in 1973.

Louis Latour 1985 Meursault-Blagny 1er-Cru 5x75cl

Chardonnay from the Burgundian Premier-Cru vineyard and appellation of Meursault-Blagny, within the subregion of Côte-de-Beaune. 

The Latour family have long been established in Burgundy’s wine trade. Originally vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1768, they went on to establish today’s business, Maison Louis Latour. Today they are one of the best known and largest vineyard owners of grand cru sites in Burgundy.

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeax-style blend from California's renowned Napa Valley: aged for 17-20 months in 80-100% new French oak.

The renowned Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red is a full blend of 70-90%  Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

\"Les Forts De Latour\" is the second wine from the famed 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Chateau Latour.

Many people do not consider it to be a \"second\" wine, but rather a wine in its own right, with the level of a fifth or even fourth cru classé.

Compared to the \"Grand Vin\", Les Forts De Latour features a higher proportion of Merlot (25-30%) in the Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend, and is matured in a lower proportion of new oak (50-60%) barrels.
