Château Haut-Brion 1970 Pessac-Léognan 1er-Grand-Cru

From the appellation of Pessac-Léognan (originally Graves before 1987), Château Haut-Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Médoc. Although Haut Brion was located in Graves (the other four are in the Médoc), the Château was recognised for the exceptional quality of its wines and has always merited its place amongst the finest wines of Bordeaux and indeed the world.

The wines of Château Haut-Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40-60% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc; matured in oak barrels (approximately 70-80% new) for 18-22 months.

Château Haut-Batailley 2010 Pauillac 5eme-Cru 6x75cl

From the Pauillac appellation, Château Haut-Batailley was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate of Pauillac in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Château Batailley is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux. In 1942 it was divided into the two separate estates that we know today; Chateau Batailley and Chateau Haut Batailley.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels (55% new) for approximately 16-18 months.

Louis Roederer Cristal 2008 Vintage Champagne

2008 vintage Champagne from Louis Roederer's prestige brand, Cristal.

Cristal is typically made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay grapes and is matured for 6 years followed by a further 8 months after disgorgement. 

Founded in 1776, the renowned Louis Roederer Champagne house is one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne houses. Cristal is their flagship cuvée, created in 1876 for emperor Alexander II, tsar of Russia.

Cockburn's 1963 Vintage Port 2x75cl

1963 vintage port from the renowned house of Cockburn's.

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Cockburn’s is one of the greatest names in Port, established by Scotsman Robert Cockburn in 1815, who returned to Portugal after first visiting the country as a soldier.

Clos Du Marquis 1996 Saint-Julien 6x75cl

From the Saint-Julien appellation, Clos Du Marquis is frequently considered to be the unofficial second-wine of Chateau Leoville Las Cases - 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc; yet is regarded by owners, Domaines Delon, as an unclassified parallel-wine. Located uphill from the famed walled-vineyard of Leoville Las Cases, the grapes ripen slightly later than the \"Enclos\".

Château Rouget 1989 Pomerol 11x75cl

Château Rouget is an estate in the Bordeaux appellation of Pomerol.  their wine is typically a blend of 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc: aged for 18 months in 30-35% new oak barrels.

Château Grand-Puy Ducasse 1998 Pauillac 5ème -Cru 300cl

From the Pauillac appellation, Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wine is typically a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (~60%) and Merlot (~40%); Matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

As is common with historic Bordeaux properties, this Chateau has went through a number of name changes from, Grand-Puy Saint-Guirons, Saint Guirons-Lacoste to Grand-Puy-Lacoste.

This is a 3 litre double magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

An incredibly old 1961 vintage from Château Lynch-Bages.

Château Lynch-Bages is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Château Lynch-Bages is also the name of the red wine produced by this property. The wine produced here was classified as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.

Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend from the left-bank Bordeaux regional appellation of Médoc; Aged for 14-16 months in 20% new oak.

A blend of approximately; 40-50% Merlot, 30-40% Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Carménère and Petit Verdot from vines with an average age of 35 years.

Le Petit Mouton De Mouton-Rothschild 1996 Pauillac

Le Petit Mouton is the second wine from the 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. Produced since the 1993 vintage, it takes it's name after the residence of its owner, Philippine de Rothschild.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend - sourced from younger vines than used in their grand vin; matured in oak barrels for an undisclosed period of time.

Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.  In spite of its prominence, the estate was listed as only a 2nd-Growth in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - an injustice that was finally confirmed with their promotion to the exclusive rank of 1st-Growth in 1973.

Château Bellegrave 2005 Pomerol 12x75cl

Merlot dominant blend from the right-bank Bordeaux appellation of Pomerol.

Typically a blend of 70-80% Merlot with 25-30% Cabernet Franc.

Louis Latour Chateau De Blagny 1999 Meursault-Blagny 1er-Cru 6x75cl

Chardonnay from Premier-Cru vineyards in the Burgundian appellation of Meursault-Blagny; matured for 8 to 10 months in French Oak barrels.

Château Figeac 2005 St-Emilion 1er-Grand Cru

Since the formation of the Saint-Emilion Classification in 1955, Chateau Figeac has held its rank as Premier Grand Cru Classé \"B\", until 2022 when it was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé \"A\".

As an anomaly for Saint-Emilion, Merlot is the minor grape variety at Château Figeac. The wines being composed of approximately 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and only 30% Merlot; matured exclusively in new French Oak barrels for 15-18 months.

Château de Gironville 2008 Haut-Médoc 12x75cl

 A classic left-bank Bordeaux-blend, Cru Bourgeois wine from the Bordeaux sub-region of Haut-Médoc.

Typically made from a fairly even blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot: matured for 12 months in 20-25% new French oak.

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey​ 1937 Sauternes 1er-Cru

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey was ranked, as part of the former Chateau Peyraguey, as a First Growth Premier Cru (1er-Cru) in Bordeaux' famed 1855 Classification of the Gironde.

The wines of Sauternes are produced from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Louis Latour 1985 Meursault-Blagny 1er-Cru 5x75cl

Chardonnay from the Burgundian Premier-Cru vineyard and appellation of Meursault-Blagny, within the subregion of Côte-de-Beaune. 

The Latour family have long been established in Burgundy’s wine trade. Originally vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1768, they went on to establish today’s business, Maison Louis Latour. Today they are one of the best known and largest vineyard owners of grand cru sites in Burgundy.

La Rioja Alta 904 2001 Rioja Gran Reserva 3x75cl

Produced only in exceptional years, \"904\" is a Tempranillo dominant blend; matured for 4 years in American Oak barrels - far exceeding the minimum requirements for classification as a Gran Reserva.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

Established in 1890, La Rioja Alta continues to be one of the benchmarks for traditionally produced Rioja wine today.

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux style blend from the Margaret River wine-region of Western Australia; Matured for 19 months in 70% new French Oak barriques.

Margaret River is one of the world's youngest wine regions but  has quickly gained an international reputation for some first-class wines. It is one of the nation's largest wine regions, with more than 200 vineyards and produces more than 25 percent of Australia's premium wine. 

A blend of; 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion from the Pessac-Léognan appellation (originally Graves before 1987), is widely regarded as being on par with the five prestigious 1st-Growth estates as ranked in the famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc; itself ranked within the Classification of Graves 1959.

Château Latour's Grand Vin is a classic left-bank Bordeaux-blend, produced exclusively from grapes picked from old-vines with Cabernet Sauvignon contributing to over 90% of the final blend.; Maturation takes place in French Oak barrels for 18 months.

Syrah from the Yorkville Highlands AVA of southern Mendocino County, California. 

Les Voisins is made from Copain's top vineyards located in Yorkville Highlands. It is typically matured for 16-18 months in neutral French oak barrels.
