Ségla is the second wine from the famed Château Rauzan-Ségla and is a Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend.
From the renowned Margaux appellation, Chateau Rauzan-Ségla (Rausan-Ségla between 1904-1994) is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently referred to as one of the leading "Super Seconds" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.
Château Rauzan-Ségla is situated in the Margaux appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France. The rich history of Château Rauzan-Ségla began under the reign of Louis XIV, when Pierre de Rauzan acquired the estate in 1661.
