Salicutti Piaggione 2015
Brunello di Montalcino comes from the Tuscan town of Montalcino. The wine must be made from 100% Sangiovese and aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release.
Podere Salicutti is Montalcino's first certified organic vineyard and obtained Demeter biodynamic certification in 2022. This wine comes from the 1.2 hectare vineyard of Piaggione planted in 1994 and 2007.
