Champagne Pommery was founded in Reims by Alexandre Louis Pommery and Narcisse Greno in 1858 initially under the name Pommery & Greno. The house, under the ownership of the renowned Madame Louise Pommery, invented the first ever 'brut' Champagne, with no added sugar.
