Les Forts de Latour is the second wine from the famed 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Château Latour.
Compared to the "Grand Vin", Les Forts de Latour features a higher proportion of Merlot (25-30%) in the Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend, and is matured in a lower proportion of new oak barrels (50-60%).
