La Romanée is a 0.8452 hectare (2.088 acre) Grand-Cru Monopole of Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair. As of 2017, 20% of the vines are aged 102 years old, 50% are 62 years old and 30% is between 22 and 42 years old.
Average annual production is low: 12 barrels - 3,600 bottles.
Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a winery located in the Burgundy region of France. The estate has been owned by the Liger-Belair family since 1815 and is known for producing highly regarded red Burgundy wines, including Vosne-Romanée from its biodynamically farmed vineyards.
