Chateau Musar Red is a blend comprising of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley; Aged in French oak for 12 months.
In recent years Château Musar has become the first producer in Lebanon to achieve organic certification for its vineyards. Today the Chateau is one of the leading wineries increasing wide-spread recognition of Lebanon's wines and wine-history.
Chateau Musar is a Lebanese winery situated in Ghazir, Lebanon, 24 kilometres north of the capital Beirut. Chateau Musar grapes grow in the Bekaa Valley, a fertile sunny valley at an elevation of 1,000 metres. The winery was established by Gaston Hochar in 1930 after returning from Bordeaux.
Lebanon is a wine-producing country located in the Middle East, with a winemaking tradition that dates back to ancient times.
