Their wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; aged for 16-18 months in 75% new oak barriques.
As is common with historic Bordeaux properties, this Château has gone through a number of name changes from, Grand-Puy Saint-Guirons, Saint Guirons-Lacoste to Grand-Puy-Lacoste.
