From the famed Bordeaux appellation of Margaux located in the Haut-Médoc district in the Right Bank of Bordeaux, southwestern France, Château d'Issan is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Médoc.
Their wine is simple, classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60-70%) and Merlot; matured in 50% new French Oak barrels for 16-18 months.
