Château Kirwan is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, located in the appellation of Margaux. (Les) Charmes de Kirwan is the second wine of the property.
The wine is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend: matured for 18-20 months in concrete tulip vats and barrels.

Château Kirwan is situated in the Margaux appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France.
It was founded in 1710 when the vineyard was bought by the négociant Sir John Collingwood. His daughter married Mark Kirwan and after the wedding, both she and the Margaux property took on a new name.
