R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia 6 Ano Rioja Blanco

A white wine blend of Viura dominance from the northern Spanish DOC of Rioja. Labelled, as was the custom at the time, according to how many years following harvest the wine has been released \"6° Año\".

Established by Don Rafael López de Heredia in 1877, R. López de Heredia is one of the most well known and respected wineries in Rioja today. An interesting note- when the term \"Reserva\" was defined in the 1970s, the owner of Viña Tondonia, Don Pedro López Heredia, objected on the grounds that the new terms were too lenient - even his most basic wine far exceeding the \"Gran Reserva\" requirements - and so refused to use the new classifications on his labels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. The white wines of Rioja (Rioja Blanco) account for around 10% of production each year and must contain a minimum of 51% Viura, with the remainder being made up of other permitted varieties; Garnacha Blanca, Tempranillo Blanca, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Malvasia.

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe 1988 Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2x75cl

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations. Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines with Syrah and Mourvèdre lead the cast of supporting grapes. White wines are also produced in exceedingly smaller volumes.

The vineyards of Domaine Du Vieux Telegraphe are located on the celebrated plateau, La Crau, where vines have an average age of sixty years. Vieux Télégraphe has been owned by the Brunier family since 1891 and is one of the most renowned estates in the Southern Rhône Valley. Vieux Telegraphe Rouge is matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 20-22 months.

Dujac Fils & Père 2009 Morey-Saint-Denis

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian appellation of Morey-Saint-Denis.

The renowned Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 in Morey-Saint-Denis when the Seysses family purchased Domaine Graillet and renamed it Domaine Dujac after founder, Jacques Seysses. The same family continue to run the estate to this day. In 2000, the family also created a négociant business, with wines like these bottled under Dujac Fils & Père.

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of \"Les Marconnets\" within the Burgundian sub-regional appellation of AOP Beaune; Matured for 18 months in 1/3 new oak.

Domaine Des Tilleuls Phillpe Livera 2007 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard Chapelle-Chambertin located in the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation 

Chapelle-Chambertin covers 5.5 hectares (13.5 acres) of land, and is one of the smaller grand crus in Gevrey-Chambertin. It produces it's red wines from Pinot Noir grapes only.

100% Sémillon from the Barossa Valley just north of Adelaide, Australia; Matured for 24 months in French and American oak barrels.

Barossa Valley is amongst Australia's oldest and most renowned wine regions. The internationally recognised region has a Mediterranean climate and is synonymous with Australia's signature grape, Shiraz. The area also boasts some of the world's oldest continually producing Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling vines. Other prominent grapes of the region include, Semillon, Viognier and Mouvedre.

Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot 1999 Clos-Vougeot Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of Clos-Vougeot.

Clos de Vougeot, also referred to as Clos Vougeot, is a large walled vineyard established in the 11th Century by Cistercian monks of the Cîteaux Abbey. Planted with 100% Pinot Noir, it considered one of the finest grand cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits subregion of northern Burgundy.

Ridge 'Benito Dusi Ranch' Zinfandel 2018 Paso Robles

Single vineyard 100% Zinfandel from the Paso Robles region of California.

An iconic name in Californian wine making, Ridge vineyards only began in the 1960's, however, wine has been produced at the site under the name 'Monte Bello Winery' since 1885. Renowned for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Chardonnay, their Bordeaux-style blends are considered rivals to these from the great Bordeaux Chateaux. 

Didier Dagueneau 2005 Blanc Fume De Pouilly

Sauvignon Blanc from the iconic Loire Valley appellation of Pouilly-Fumé, located directly across the river from the equally famous appellation of Sancerre.

The Pouilly-Fumé appellation was created in 1937 and was originally named Blanc Fumé de Pouilly. The appellation exclusively produces white wines from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with a distinctive smoky ('fumé) character. Not to be confused with Burgundy's Pouilly-Fuisse which is Chardonnay based.

The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

One of the great houses of Port- the name Dow has been associated with quality Port wine from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley for over two centuries.

Domaine Long-Depaquit - Albert Bichot 'Moutonne' Monopole 2007 Chablis Grand-Cru

Old-vine Chardonnay from the Monopole Grand-Cru vineyard of La Moutonne in the iconic French appellation of Chablis; matured for 10 months in 75% stainless steel vats and 25% in 1-5 year old oak barrels- final ageing is complete in 100% stainless steel vats.

Chablis is located in northern Burgundy and is one of the most well-known wine regions in France producing world renowned cool-climate Chardonnay. Compared to other Burgundian Chardonnays, Chablis wines typically have little or no oak influence- though many of the Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines receive some maturation in oak barrels.

The vineyard of La Moutonne has an average vine age of 46 years. 

Roger Sabon 'Les Olivets' 1998 Châteauneuf-du-Pape 6x75cl

The family estate of Roger Sabon was founded in 1952. Les Olivets is made from a blend of 80% Grenache with 10% Syrah and Cinsault and aged for 18 months in large oak casks or oak vats.

Renaudin Bollinger Extra Quality Very Dry 1928 Vintage Champagne

An incredibly old 1928 vintage Champagne from the House of Renaudin Bollinger, known today by the name Bollinger

Founded in 1829 initially under the name Renaudin Bollinger & Cie, Bollinger is one of the last independent Champagne houses. The house continues to be run by members of the Bollinger family to this day. The House’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir which is dominant in their wines.

Tempranillo dominant red wine from the famed Rioja region in northern Spain; Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 36 months including 12 months in oak barrels.

It is the oldest winery in the emblematic town of Haro and one of the first three set up in La Rioja. It continues to be a family run estate with the fourth generation now running the business.

Vieilles Vignes is the flagship cuvée from Domaine de la Janasse . It is made from vines planted in following years: 40%-1920, 40%-1965, 10%-1976 and 10%-1993: matured for 12 months in foudres and demi-muids.
