Pinot Noir from the Burgundian appellation of Morey-Saint-Denis.

The renowned Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 in Morey-Saint-Denis when the Seysses family purchased Domaine Graillet and renamed it Domaine Dujac after founder, Jacques Seysses. The same family continue to run the estate to this day. In 2000, the family also created a négociant business, with wines like these bottled under Dujac Fils & Père.

The vineyards of Domaine Du Vieux Telegraphe are located on the celebrated plateau, La Crau, where vines have an average age of sixty years. Vieux Télégraphe has been owned by the Brunier family since 1891 and is one of the most renowned estates in the Southern Rhône Valley. Vieux Telegraphe Rouge is matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 20-22 months.

1983 vintage Port from the house of Dow's. Bottled in 1985.

Vintage Port is produced only in the most exceptional deemed years from a single harvest. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2-3 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades. The decision to declare a vintage is made by the individual Port house. 

One of the great houses of Port- the name Dow has been associated with quality Port wine from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley for over two centuries.

From the renowned Nyetimber estate located in the English county of West Sussex, this 1992 vintage sparkling wine has been made in the style - and same, traditional process- of Champagne, from France.

Of all non-Champagne sparkling wines, many of those produced in the south of England come closest in terms of style and quality.  With similarities in soils and climates, grape varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) which grow well, and method of production, it is natural that flavour will follow also.

Blanc-de-Blancs wines are made exclusively from white grapes- most commonly 100% Chardonnay.

The wines of the famed Tokaji wine region of northeastern Hungary are predominantly produced from the white wine grapes Furmint, which are left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp.

Tokaji wines are classified by sweetness, from 1 Puttonyos (dry) to 7 Puttonyos (absolute sweetness) and can be produced from the following grapes; Furmint, Hárslevelű, Yellow Muscat, Zéta (aka Oremus), Kövérszőlő and Kabar.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes.
