Domaine Prince Florent de Mérode

Domaine Prince Florent de Mérode was a renowned Burgundy wine producer based in Aloxe-Corton, with vineyards owned by the Mérode family since around 1700. The estate held significant historic parcels on the Corton hill, including Clos du Roi, Bressandes, and Les Renardes. The family traditionally vinified and bottled its own wines until 2009. Following the deaths of Prince Florent de Mérode and his wife in 2008, the vineyards were placed under a long-term lease to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), which has produced and bottled the wines from these parcels beginning with the 2009 vintage, while the Mérode family retains ownership of the land.
