Sangiovese dominant blend from the iconic wine-region of Chianti in the heart of Tuscany. Featuring label artwork of sections of the ceiling painting of the Sistine Chapel in Rome by Michelangelo.

Chianti Classico wines must contain a minimum of 80% of Sangiovese. The remainder can be made from native grapes such as Canaiolo or Colorino, as well as international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Wines made only from Sangiovese have been permitted since 1996.

Gran Selezione classed wines (only found in Chianti Classico) must be made from 100% estate grown grapes, with a minimum of 30 months of ageing in oak barrels.
