This wine is a collaboration between the Wine Society and La Rioja Alta SA, with the 874 a reference to the 1874 founding date of the Wine Society.
It is a blend of Tempranillo (70%), Garnacha (25%) and Graciano (5%), created by Pierre Mansour of the Wine Society and Julio Saenz of La Rioja Alta.
La Rioja Alta is a renowned wine producer located in the Rioja region of northern Spain. Established in 1890, it is one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the region. La Rioja Alta is known for producing traditional, high-quality Rioja wines, including reds and whites.
