This Rioja was produced as a collaboration between the Wine Society and La Rioja Alta SA, with the 874 a reference to the 1874 founding date of the Wine Society.
It is a blend of Tempranillo (70%), Garnacha (25%) and Graciano (5%), created by Pierre Mansour of the Wine Society and Julio Saenz of La Rioja Alta: Classified as a Reserva, this wine was matured for a minimum period of 36 months including 12 months in oak barrels.
