Château Talbot is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is renowned for its consistency and ageing ability.
The 2019 vintage is made from a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot: aged for 15 months in 60% new oak barrels.
Château Talbot is a wine estate located in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France. The château takes its name from the Connétable Talbot, an English soldier and governor of Guyenne who was defeated in battle by the French at Castillon in 1453.
