The Sainte-Croix-du-Mont appellation in Bordeaux applies to sweet white wines made from Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle grapes- made in a similar in style to that of the highly acclaimed wines of Sauternes and Barsac. The region is located southwest of Entre-Deux-Mers in front of the Sauternes region in the Gironde department.
