Château Calon-Ségur is situated in the St-Estèphe appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France and is the most northerly of all the Médoc Grand-Crus Classés.
Historic records show that Calon-Ségur was in existence as far back as 1147 when it was owned by Monseigneur de Calon.
