Bottle Details

This 2014 vintage of San Lorenzo is made from a blend of 80% Sangiovese, 13% Merlot and 7% Malvasia Nera. 

Gran Selezione classed wines (only found in Chianti Classico) must be made from 100% estate grown grapes, with a minimum of 30 months of ageing in oak barrels.

Sangiovese dominant blend with small amounts of Merlot and Malvasia Nera, from the iconic Tuscan wine-region of Chianti Classico - regarded as the original Chianti.

Gran Selezione is a fairly new classification which sits above Chianti Classico Riserva. To be classed as a Gran Selezione the wine is required to be made of grapes that are 100% estate grown with a minimum of 90% Sangiovese in the blend and with at least 30 months of ageing in oak barrels.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
