Screaming Eagle 2006 Napa Valley

From the Oakville district of Napa Valley, Screaming Eagle - established only in 1986 - is one of California's contemporarily-deemed cult wineries.  While generally relatively new operations, such \"cult\" wineries are renowned both for their wines of incredibly high quality and incredibly high value.

A blend of 80-85% Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc; Matured for 24 months in 65% new French oak barrels.

Châ​teau Petrus 1983 Pomerol

Châ​teau Petrus is undisputedly the top wine estate in the Bordeaux right-bank appellation of Pomerol and rightly lays claim to being one of the most famous estates in the world of wine.  Unofficially recognised as a \"Premier Grand Cru\" (no such classification exists in Pomerol), Petrus is considered first-among-equals with the likes of Mouton- and Lafite-Rothschild in regards to both quality and iconic stature. As there is no second wine at Pétrus, where the declassified juice ends up is one of the wine world’s great mysteries.

Petrus is small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres) and produces its single-varietal wine entirely from Merlot grapes. Prior to 2010, small amounts of Cabernet Franc were used in some vintages. The wines are aged in 100% new oak barrels for an average of 20 months.

Château Figeac 2005 St-Emilion 1er-Grand Cru 6x75cl

Since the formation of the Saint-Emilion Classification in 1955, and through every re-classification, Chateau Figeac has held its rank as Premier Grand Cru Classe \"B\".

As an anomaly for Saint-Emilion, Merlot is the minor grape variety at Château Figeac. The wines being composed of approximately 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and only 30% Merlot; matured exclusively in new French Oak barrels for 15-18 months.

Extra-dry Champagne from the renowned Domaine Jacques Selosse.

This lot consists of one each of the following;

• Sous le Mont is produced using a blend of 100% Pinot Noir grapes from all vintages from 2004-2009, sourced exclusively from the Premier Cru vineyard of the same name located in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. 
• Les Carelles is produced using a blend of 100% Chardonnay grapes from all vintages from 2003-2009, sourced exclusively from the Grand Cru vineyard of the same name located in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Domaine René Engel \"Les Brulees\" 2002 Vosne-Romanee 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Brulees in the Burgundian appellation of Vosne-Romanée.

Domaine René Engel was sold in 2006 and was renamed, Domaine d’Eugenie. The last vintage under the Domaine René Engel name was released in 2004 and bottles under this old name are becoming increasingly rare and sought after.

Domaine Leflaive 2006 Bâtard-Montrachet

Chardonnay from the iconic Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of Bâtard-Montrachet; Typically matured for approximately 12 months in 25% new oak barrels. 

Château Lafite-Rothschild 1986 Pauillac 1er-Cru

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.

Château Lafite Rothschild is an iconic first-growth property in Pauillac, North West of Bordeaux, France with vines first planted in the late 16th century by the Ségur family. It achieved its top-tier rank in 1855 and has been in the Rothschild family since 1868.

Lafite was listed as one of only four 1st Growths in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - though sister-estate Château Mouton-Rothschild gained promotion from 2nd (2eme Cru) to 1st-Growth in 1973.

This wine is from the great 1986 vintage.

Château Haut-Brion 1970 Pessac-Léognan Pessac-Leognan 1er-Grand-Cru 6x75cl

From the appellation of Pessac-Léognan (originally Graves before 1987), Château Haut-Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Médoc. Although Haut Brion was located in Graves (the other four are in the Médoc), the Château was recognised for the exceptional quality of its wines and has always merited its place amongst the finest wines of Bordeaux and indeed the world.

The wines of Château Haut-Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40-60% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc; matured in oak barrels (approximately 70-80% new) for 18-22 months.

Cabernet Sauvignon from the Alexander Valley AVA of Sonoma County, California; Matured for an extended period in 50% new oak barrels from Silver Oak's very own American oak cooperage.

Alvaro Palacios \"L'Ermita\" 2015 Priorat 

Legendary old-vine Grenache dominant blend from the northeastern Spanish DO of Priorat. Matured for approximately 20 months in new French barriques. 

Typically a blend of 80-90% Grenache with Cariñena and a tiny amount of white grapes.

Dominio De Pingus 2017 Ribera Del Duero 

Old vine, 100% Tempranillo from the renowned Dominio De Pingus in northern Spain's wine-region, Ribero Del Duero.

Dominio de Pingus is located in Quintanilla de Onésimo in the Valladolid province with vineyards in the La Horra area of Ribera del Duero. Their wines are aged for 20-23 months in a combination of new and used French oak.

Domaine Armand Rousseau 2001 Clos De La Roche Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of Clos De La Roche within Morey-Saint-Denis. Produced by the renowned Domaine Armand Rousseau- one of the great Domaines of Burgundy. 

Mondavi & Chadwick \"Seña\" 2017 Aconcagua 6x75cl

The result of a collaborative project between Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, Sena is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-style blend from Chile's Aconcagua Valley; Matured for 22 months in 67% new French oak. 

This 2017 vintage is a blend of; 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmenere, 15% Malbec, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.

Château Talbot 2003 Saint-Julien 4eme-Cru 10x75cl

One of the most recognisable wine estates in Bordeaux, Château Talbot is typically a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend along with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc; Aged for approximately 18 months in small oak barriques (50% new).

Château Talbot is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is renowned for its consistency and ageing ability.

Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 1990 Vintage Champagne

1990 vintage rosé Champagne from Louis Roederer's prestige brand, Cristal.

A blend of around 55% Pinot noir and 45% Chardonnay, comprising 20% of wine matured in oak tuns, Cristal Rosé is produced using the saignée (bleeding) process after cold maceration. The Cristal Rosé cuvée is aged, on average, for 6 years in Louis Roederer’s cellars.

Founded in 1776, the Louis Roederer Champagne house is one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne houses. Cristal is their flagship cuvée, created in 1876 for emperor Alexander II, tsar of Russia.

Château Haut-Brion 2011 Pessac-Léognan Blanc

A white wine blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon from the appellation of Pessac-Léognan in the southern Bordeaux subregion of Graves; Matured for approximately 10 months in 45% new oak barrels. 

From the appellation of Pessac-Léognan (originally Graves before 1987), Château Haut-Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Médoc. Château Margaux \"Pavillon Rouge\" 1999 Margaux 4x75cl

\"Pavillon Rouge\" is the second-wine from the 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Margaux estate, Château Margaux. It is believed this second wine was first released back in the 17th century, but the name Pavillon Rouge was given to it in 1908.

Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend with a relatively high proportion of Merlot; Matured for 18 to 26 months in new French Oak barrels.

Château Palmer 1983 Margaux 3eme-Cru

Located in the appellation of Margaux, Château Palmer was ranked as a 3rd-Growth (3eme-Cru) Grand Cru estate in the famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels for 18-20 months.

This 1983 vintage is a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. 

Château Musar 1983 Bekaa Valley 6x75cl

Château Musar Red is a blend comprising of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley; Aged in French oak for 12 months. 

Château Musar was created in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. In recent years Château Musar has become the first producer in Lebanon to achieve organic certification for its vineyards. Today the Chateau is one of the leading wineries increasing wide-spread recognition of Lebanon's wines and wine-history.

Vega Sicilia is one of Spain's most renowned wineries, responsible for three iconic wines: \"Unico\" Gran Reserva, \"Unico\" Reserva Especial and \"Valbuena\".

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo), usually released after almost 10 years of maturation - normally with 6 years in oak.​

Chateau La Tour Haut-Brion 1961 Graves Grand-Cru 2x75cl

From the appellation of Graves (classified as Pessac Léognan since 1987), Chateau La Tour Haut-Brion was ranked Grand Cru Classe in the 1959 Classification of Graves.  While a Grand Cru in its own right, La Tour Haut-Brion had close relationship with neighbouring estate, Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion, and was eventually morphed into the latter following the 2005 vintage.

The small vineyards of La Tour Haut-Brion were planted with 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 32% Merlot - ratios to which the wines could have been expected to roughly follow with slight vintage variation; Matured in French Oak barrels for 18-22 months.

Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 1996 Pauillac Premier-Cru

Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.  In spite of its prominence, the estate was listed as only a 2nd-Growth in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - an injustice that was finally confirmed with their promotion to the exclusive rank of 1st-Growth in 1973.

The vineyards of Château Mouton-Rothschild are planted to 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot - a ratio to which their wine roughly follows with slight annual variation; Matured in 100% new French Oak barrels for 18-22 months.

Château Batailley 2011 Pauillac 5eme-Cru 12x75cl

From the Pauillac appellation, Château Batailley was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Château Batailley is one of the oldest estates in Bordeaux. In 1942 it was divided into the two separate estates that we know today; Chateau Batailley and Chateau Haut Batailley.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels (55% new) for approximately 16-18 months.
