Piper Heidsieck 'Rare' 2008 Vintage Champagne​ 3x75cl

2006 vintage Champagne from the historic House of Piper-Heidsieck.

First created with the 1976 vintage, Rare has since only produced in exceptional years.

Piper-Heidsieck was founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck. The history of the house can be traced back to the original Heidsieck and Co., which was split into three different operations- the others being Heidsieck Monopole and Charles Heidsieck. Marilyn Monroe was one of the House's earliest supporters, rumoured to have kept a month's supply of champagne in her kitchen.

Paul Jaboulet 'La Chapelle' 1985 Hermitage 2x75cl

Syrah from the iconic northern Rhône Valley appellation of Hermitage; Aged for an undisclosed period in 20% new oak. 

Paul Jaboulet is one of the most prominent names in the Rhône and Hermitage. La Chapelle is their flagship wine, made from 100% Syrah from a blend from their top sites including the acclaimed vineyards of Les Bessards, Le Meal and Les Rocoules. The estate also produce a \"La Chapelle blanc\" which is made from 100% Marsanne grapes.

Pol Roger 'Sir Winston Churchill' Brut 2006 Vintage Champagne

2006 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Pol Roger.

Champagne Pol Roger created their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill who was a long term customer of the Champagne House. It is only produced in their very best vintages.

Perrier-Jouët Grand-Brut NV Champagne 6x75cl

Grand Brut dates back to 1846, when Perrier-Jouët launched the Cuvée K, the world’s first lightly dosed champagne in the style today known as “brut”.

Bollinger 'La Grande Année' Brut 2004 Vintage Champagne

2004 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Bollinger.

La Grande Année is made from grapes sourced exclusively from Grand-Cru and Premier-Cru vineyards and aged for 10 years in oak prior to release.  

Founded in 1829, Bollinger is one of the last independent Champagne houses. The house continues to be run by members of the Bollinger family to this day. The House’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir which is dominant in their wines.

Released to celebrate the historic partnership between Bollinger and 007 on the 50th anniversary of 007’s appearance on screen. Presented in a box inspired by the shape of a Walther PPK silencer which opens by aligning the three figures 007.

Bruno Colin 'La Maltroie' 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er-Cru

Chardonnay from the Premier Cru vineyard of La Maltroie in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Chassagne-Montrachet: matured for 12 months in 15-20% new oak barrels. 

Prunotto Bussia 1988 Barolo 2x75cl

Barolo, often referred to as the “king of wines”,  must always be made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes-, and matured for a minimum period of 38 months, 18 of which must be in oak barrels - (traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks).

Barolo wine comes from a traditional village of the same name located in the northern region of Piemonte. It is so revered that it was one of just three wines awarded DOCG status on the same day that the classification was introduced in July 1980. The region encompasses 11 villages in the heart of Piemonte, Most of the estates are small and family-owned, therefore production of wines from the Barolo DOCG is low.

This wine comes from a single vineyard in the Bussia Monforte d’Alba area and is aged for 18 months in oak barrels.

Pierre Ponnelle 1952 Vosne Romanee

Pinot Noir from the famed  Burgundy appellation of Vosne Romanée.

Note- vintage date is obscured. We estimate this being 1952. 

Butler Nephew & Co 1955 Vintage Port

1955 vintage Port from Butler Nephew & Co. bottled 1961.

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes.  The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character.  Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Butler, Nephew & Co. were a long-established Port House until they were purchased by Gonzalez Byass in the 1950s. The brand name of Butler Nephew was continued by Gonzalez Byass until it finally became surplus to their requirements in 1989.

Pieroth 'Bechtolsheimer Petersberg' Beerenauslese Ortega 2003 Rheinhessen 3x75cl

Sweet white wine made from the Ortega grape, from the single vineyard of Petersberg in the village of Bechtolsheimer within the Rheinhessen wine-region just south-west of Frankfurt.

Beerenauslese is a German classification for a late harvest, very sweet wine. Beerenauslese, often called \"BA\" for short, wines are a category and level of sweetness above Auslese and are made from grapes affected by noble rot, i.e.\"botrytised \" grapes.

Bava 1982 Barolo

Bodegas y Viñedos 'Alión' 1995 Ribera Del Duero Reserva

100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) from the northern Spanish DO Ribera Del Duero; Matured in 100% new French Oak barrels for 12-14 months.

Alión was established in 1986 and was acquired in 1992 by the owners of the famed Vega Sicilia, the Álvarez family.

Burmester 'Tordiz' Ultra Reserve NV Port 2x70cl

A non-vintage port named Tordiz, due to the confluence of the Torto and Mendiz rivers. It is obtained from wines that have been carefully aged in small oak casks and later blended in a small upstanding oak vat dating from 1864.

Baron Philippe De Rothschild 1990 Sauternes

The wines of Sauternes are produced from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine.

Pio Cesare 1961 Barolo

Paul Jaboulet Le Chevalier De Sterimberg 2000 Hermitage Blanc

A white wine blend of Marsanne and Roussanne from the iconic Northern Rhone Valley appellation of Hermitage.

The French appellation of Hermitage is most well known for it's red wine production from the Syrah grape, however, small quantities of white wine such as this are also produced from Roussane and Marsanne grapes.

Julian Haart 'Piesporter Goldtröpfchen' Riesling Kabinett 2014 Mosel

Semi-sweet Riesling from the single vineyard of Goldtröpfchen located in the village of Piesport in Germany's famous Mosel River valley. 

Kabinett is the lightest style of German wine. It is made from grapes which were picked at full ripeness (but not late-harvested) and the style typically ranges from dry to off-dry with well balanced residual sweetness and acidity. 

Bruno Colin 'En Remilly' 2007 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er-Cru

Chardonnay from the Premier Cru vineyard of En Remilly in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Chassagne-Montrachet.

José Gil 'Viñedos en San Vicente de la Sonsierra' 2018 Rioja

Tempranillo domiant blend from the famed Rioja region of northern Spain.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja. 

Pulenta Estate X Gran Malbec 2018 Uco Valley

Malbec from Argentina's Uco Valley, just south of the city of Mendoza; Matured for 9 months in new French oak barrels. 

This 100% Malbec comes from high altitude vineyards (1,200 meters above sea level) planted in 1981.

A Merlot dominant blend from the small region of Matakana located north of Auckland, New Zealand; matured for 20-24 months in 100% new nevers oak barrels.

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
