Brunello di Montalcino comes from the Tuscan town of Montalcino. The wine must be made from 100% Sangiovese and aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release.Podere Salicutti is Montalcino's first certified organic vineyard and obtained Demeter biodynamic certification in 2022. This wine comes from the 0.7 hectare Teatro vineyard.
