Lombardy is a wine-producing region located in northern Italy, known for its production white wines made from the Moscato grape and full-bodied red wines made from the Barbera grape. The region is also home to some of Italy's most famous sparkling wines, including Franciacorta which is made using the traditional method and is known for its rich and complex flavour profile.
