Torbreck Descendant 2005
Planted in 1994, Descendant is a single vineyard Shiraz-Viognier blend :aged for 18 months in barrels previously used to mature the Torbreck RunRig wine.
This 2005 vintage is made from 92% Shiraz and 8% Viognier.

Torbreck, named after a forest in Scotland, was founded in 1994 by Dave Powell and has quickly become one of the most revered producers in Australia, creating wines from renowned vineyards in the area. The first wine made under the Torbreck label was the 1995 RunRig, which was released in 1997.
