Based around the city of Reims in the Champagne region of France, Piper-Heidsieck’s origins began with Florens-Louis Heidsieck starting his own Champagne House in 1785. In 1815, Florens-Louis’ nephew, Christian Heidsieck joined the Reims venture along with Henri-Guillaume Piper.
