The 81 hectare vineyard of Château Pontet-Canet is planted to 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot - a ratio in which the wines can roughly expect to follow with slight vintage variation.

Château Pontet-Canet is a wine estate located in the Pauillac appellation of the Médoc region in Bordeaux, France. The Pauillac estate dates back to the 1700s when royal governor, Jean-Francois de Pontet, amalgamated several plots of vines and his descendants added further plots in Canet.
