Château Pavie
Merlot dominant blend from the renowned Château Pavie, which was classified in 2012 in the first rank of the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine, as a Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" estate, after having previously held Premier Grand Cru Classé "B" rank since 1954.
Pavie's wine is made from a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon- aged for up to 24 months in new oak barrels
Château Pavie
Château Pavie is one of the leading estates in the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Émilion in France. Grapes have been grown for winemaking on the site that would become Château Pavie since Roman times. The Château’s name is derived from a Gallo-Roman senator by the name of Publius Vibius Pansa.
