The small vineyards of La Tour Haut-Brion were planted with 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 32% Merlot - ratios to which the wines could have been expected to roughly follow with slight vintage variation; Matured in French Oak barrels for 18-22 months.
Château La Tour Haut-Brion was a Bordeaux wine estate from the Pessac-Léognan appellation within Graves. The estate's final vintage was in 2005 and since then, the fruit from La Tour Haut-Brion has been used in the production of Château La Mission Haut-Brion.
