Clos de Vougeot, also referred to as Clos Vougeot, is a large walled vineyard established in the 11th Century by Cistercian monks of the Cîteaux Abbey. Planted with 100% Pinot Noir, it considered one of the finest grand cru vineyards in the Côte de Nuits subregion of northern Burgundy.

Established in 1890 in Vougeot, Château de la Tour is the largest proprietor of Clos de Vougeot. The estate, which was certified organic since 2005, has been owned and operated by the Labet family since its construction. The Labet family also runs Domaine Pierre Labet.
