Dom Perignon Plenitude 3 P3 Millesime 1975 Vintage Champagne

1975 vintage Champagne from Moet & Chandon's prestige brand, Dom Perignon.

Originally named \"Oenothèque\" the series was re-branded in 2014 and renamed Plénitude. The vintages in this series will be released after extended ageing on lees.

The 1975 vintage Plénitude 3 (P3) has been maturing for 25 years in the Dom Perignon cellars.

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2017 Bolgheri 12x75cl

First released with the 1968 vintage, Sassicaia is one of Italy's greatest and most iconic wines.  A \"Super-Tuscan\" by nature of being made from grape varieties not native to Tuscany, and which pays significant homage - and competition - to Bordeaux.

The wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend with Cabernet Franc; Matured for 20-25 months in French Oak barriques.

Châ​teau Petrus 2007 Pomerol

Châ​teau Petrus is undisputedly the top wine estate in the Bordeaux right-bank appellation of Pomerol and rightly lays claim to being one of the most famous estates in the world of wine.  Unofficially recognised as a \"Premier Grand Cru\" (no such classification exists in Pomerol), Petrus is considered first-among-equals with the likes of Mouton- and Lafite-Rothschild in regards to both quality and iconic stature. As there is no second wine at Pétrus, where the declassified juice ends up is one of the wine world’s great mysteries.

Petrus is small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres) and produces its single-varietal wine entirely from Merlot grapes. Prior to 2010, small amounts of Cabernet Franc were used in some vintages. The wines are aged in 100% new oak barrels for an average of 20 months.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti or simply “DRC” is undoubtedly the most renowned estate in Burgundy today. The domaine uses 100% new oak to mature their wines which comes from their private supply in the Troncais forest.

Domaine Leflaive 'Clavoillon' 2005 Puligny-Montrachet 1er-Cru 6x75cl

Chardonnay from the Premier Cru vineyard of Clavoillon in the iconic Burgundian appellation of Puligny-Montrachet, within the subregion of Côte-de-Beaune.

Non-vintage Champagne from renowned Champagne House, Moët & Chandon. Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne, created in 1869.

Established in 1743 by Claude Moët, the world famous Moet & Chandon continues to be one of the world's largest champagne producers and most sought-after Champagne brands in the world.

This is a 15 Litre 'Nebuchadnezzar' bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Château Pavie 1970 Saint-Émilion 1er-Grand-Cru​ 300cl

Merlot dominant blend from the renowned Chateau Pavie, which was classified in 2012 in the first rank of the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine, as a Premier Grand Cru Classé \"A\" estate, after having previously been a Premier Grand Cru Classé \"B\" since 1954.

Pavie's wines are a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for up to 24 months in new oak barrels.

This is a 3 litre double magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Domaine Roumier 2005 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of AOP Ruchottes-Chambertin, within the subregion of the Côte-de-Nuits.

Domaine Georges Roumier was founded in 1924 and is one of Burgundy's most prestigious estates. Christophe Roumier took over Domaine Georges Roumier in 1981.

Château Mouton-Rothschild 2012 Pauillac 1er-Cru​ 2x75cl

Château Mouton-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.  In spite of its prominence, the estate was listed as only a 2nd-Growth in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - an injustice that was finally confirmed with their promotion to the exclusive rank of 1st-Growth in 1973.

The vineyards of Château Mouton-Rothschild are planted to 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot - a ratio to which their wine roughly follows with slight annual variation; Matured in 100% new French Oak barrels for 18-22 months.

This 2012 vintage bottling features artwork by Catalan painter, Miquel Barcelo.

Bollinger 'R.D.' Extra Brut 2008 Vintage Champagne 6x75cl

A 2008 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Bollinger. Disgorged on 9th December 2022 after maturing for over 12 years. 

Bollinger's R.D (recently disgorged) is produced from Grand and premier Cru vineyards and only in the very best of vintages. 

Founded in 1829 initially under the name Renaudin Bollinger & Cie, Bollinger is one of the last independent Champagne houses. The house continues to be run by members of the Bollinger family to this day. The House’s 178 hectares are planted with 85% of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vines, the majority of which are Pinot Noir which is dominant in their wines.

Château Lafite-Rothschild 1961 Pauillac 1er-Cru

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.

Château Lafite Rothschild is an iconic first-growth property in Pauillac, North West of Bordeaux, France with vines first planted in the late 16th century by the Ségur family. It achieved its top-tier rank in 1855 and has been in the Rothschild family since 1868.

Lafite was listed as one of only four 1st Growths in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc - though sister-estate Château Mouton-Rothschild gained promotion from 2nd (2eme Cru) to 1st-Growth in 1973.

Château Lafite-Rothschild 1961 Pauillac 1er-Cru

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; matured in new oak barrels for between 18 to 20 months.

Marchesi Antinori \"Tignanello\" 2016 Tuscany 6x75cl

Sangiovese dominant Super-Tuscan blend; Matured in small oak barrels for approximately 12-16 months in combination of new and used oak.

Marchesi Antinori is one of Tuscany’s most iconic producers and can trace its history back to 1385 with twenty-six generations of the Antinori family personally managing the business. In 1971, Antinori released the first vintage of Tignanello - A blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese that has since become the flagship wine of Antinori.

Seppelt 100 Year Old Para Port Liqueur 1881 Australia

Produced in a style roughly mirroring that of the fortified Ports from Portugal, this is a fortified Tawny wine from the legendary Seppeltsfield vineyards in Australia's Barossa Valley. Para 100 year old port is believed to be made from Mourvedre, Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache.

In 1878, Benno Seppelt began the tradition of laying down a single chosen 500 Litre barrel of the winery's \"port\" with the decree that the puncheon not be opened for 100 years. 

This wine is from the 1881 vintage and was bottled in 1981- released after an incredible 100 years of maturing. This is one of only 110 bottles produced.

This lot is complete with a certificate of authenticity from Seppelt.

Château Pichon Longueville 1918 Pauillac 2eme-Cru

An incredibly old 1918 vintage from Château Pichon Longueville.

Located in the Pauillac appellation, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wines of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande, often shorted to Château Pichon Lalande, tend to feature a higher proportion of Merlot within their Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blends, than other estates within the Pauillac appellation; Matured in new French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Château Talbot 1961 Saint-Julien 4eme-Cru / Cordier 6x75cl

One of the most recognisable wine estates in Bordeaux, Château Talbot is typically a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend along with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc; Aged for approximately 18 months in small oak barriques (50% new).

Château Talbot is a 4th Growth (4eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is renowned for its consistency and ageing ability.

This is a bottling by the historic French négociants, Cordier

Château Calon-Ségur 1961 Saint-Estèphe 3eme-Cru 3x75cl

From the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Estèphe, Château Calon-Ségur is a 3rd Growth (3eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. The Château is home to one of the few walled vineyards in the Left Bank and is the most northerly of all the Médoc Grand-Crus Classés.

Typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; Matured in 100% new oak barrels for 18-20 months.

Domaine Jacques Prieur 2015 Musigny Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru vineyard of (Le) Musigny, within the renowned Burgundian appellation of Chambolle-Musigny.

This wine comes from a 0.77 hectare plot of the vineyard and is matured for 21 months in oak barrels. 

Domaine A.-F. Gros 2005 Richebourg Grand-Cru

Pinot Noir from the famed Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard and appellation of Richebourg, within the subregion of the Côte-de-Nuits.

Château Léoville Las Cases 2015 Saint-Julien 2eme-Cru 6x75cl

From the St-Julien appellation, Chateau Leoville Las Cases is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The compositions of Le Grand Vin de Léoville du Marquis de Las Cases varies with each vintage, yet are true to Bordeaux' classic left-bank formula of Cabernet Sauvignon dominance, Merlot moderance, some Cabernet Franc and a tiny dash of Petit Verdot; matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Domaine François Lamarche 2014 Clos de Vougeot Grand-Cru 6x75cl

Jacques Selosse 'Substance' Blanc-de-Blancs Brut NV Champagne

Non-vintage Champagne from the renowned Champagne House of Jacques Selosse. Disgorged on the 1st of October 2015.

Substance is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from a Grand Cru single vineyard in Avize.

Blanc-De-Blancs wines are made exclusively from white grapes- most commonly 100% Chardonnay.

Perrier-Jouët 'Réserve Belle Époque' 1995 Vintage Champagne 300cl

1995 vintage Champagne from Perrier-Jouët's prestige brand, Belle Époque.

Belle Époque was first created in 1964. The iconic bottles are decorated with Japanese white anemones flowers created by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902. Until the year 2011, “Perrier-Jouët \"Belle Époque\" was labelled as 'Fleur de Champagne' in the USA.

Domaine Georges Roumier 'Les Cras' 2001 Chambolle-Musigny 1er-Cru

Burgundian Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Cras in the renowned appellation of Chambolle-Musigny, in the subregion of Côte-de-Nuits, Burgundy; matured for approximately 14 months in 25% new oak. 

Domaine Georges Roumier was founded in 1924 and is one of Burgundy's great estates. 

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2004 St-Julien 2eme-Cru 6x75cl

From the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and frequently regarded as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\".

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for approximately 18 months in 60%-70% new oak.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is one oldest estates in the Medoc dating back to the 13th century. The 75-hectare vineyard has an average vine age of 35 years, however, Ducru-Beaucaillou also has old vines. Their oldest plot is the Les Sadons parcel was planted all the way back in 1918.

Château d'Yquem 2018 Sauternes 1er-Cru Supérieur 6x37.5cl

The famed Chateau d'Yquem's signature Sauternes wine is made with 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. These grapes are affected by noble rot, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine. With a yield limited to one glass per vine, Château d'Yquem is a Sauternes wine whose rareness contributes to its prestige.

One of the world’s most prized and enviable wines, Château d’Yquem is Sauternes’ only classified Premier-Cru-Supérieur, and recognised as one of the top wines of Bordeaux.

Jacques Selosse 'Sous le Mont' Extra Brut NV Champagne

Very dry Champagne from the renowned Champagne House of Jacques Selosse. Disgorged on the 30th of January 2017.

Sous le Mont is produced using a blend of 100% Pinot Noir grapes from all vintages from 2004-2009, sourced exclusively from the Premier Cru vineyard of the same name located in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. 

Doudet-Naudin 2014 Clos Saint-Denis Grand-Cru 6x75cl

This Burgundian Pinot Noir is from the Grand Cru appellation of Clos Saint-Denis by the town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, within the subregion of the Côte-de-Nuits.

Doudet-Naudin age their red wines for several months in French oak barrels- according to Burgundy tradition.
