Graham's 1977 Vintage Port 12x75cl

1977 Vintage Port from the house of Graham's. Bottled in 1979.

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Graham’s, one of the most famous names in the Port trade, was established in 1820 by William and John Graham. Today Graham’s remains a family-owned firm after being acquired by the Symington family in 1970. 

These 12 bottles are presented in their original wooden case.

Ruinart Blanc-de-Blancs Brut 1988 Vintage Champagne 150cl

1988 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Ruinart.

Blanc-De-Blancs Champagne are made exclusively from the white grape variety, Chardonnay.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Ridge Monte Bello Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 California 2x75cl

An iconic name in Californian wine making, Ridge vineyards only began in the 1960's, however, wine has been produced at the site underthe name 'Monte Bello Winery' since 1885. Renowned for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Chardonnay, their Bordeaux-style blends are considered rivals to these from the great Bordeaux Chateaux. 

Gaja Sori San Lorenzo 1999 Langhe

Nebbiolo from the renowned Langhe subregion of Piedmont.

Gaja are one of the most renowned wine producers in Italy. Founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja, the estate has since been owned and operated by five generations of the Gaja family.

This wine comes from the celebrated vineyard site of Sori San Lorenzo.

Grant Burge Meshach Shiraz 2016 Barossa Valley 6x75cl

The pinnacle of Grant Burge's winemaking in the heart of the Barossa.

This Shiraz is made from century-old vines, and named after Grant Burge's grandfather who first brought his family to Australia

Remoissenet Pere & Fils 1994 Meursault-Charmes 1er-Cru

Chardonnay from the Premier-Cru climat of Charmes within the Burgundian appellation of Meursault.

Remoissenet Pere & Fils was founded in 1877 in Beaune. Over the years the ancient estate has built up one of the biggest collections of aged Burgundy, with over one million bottles, dating back to the 1950s. In 2005, Remoissenet started the next chapter in its generations-long history with new owners and renewed leadership under Pierre-Antoine Rovani.

Gianni Brunelli 2016 Brunello di Montalcino 3x75cl

100% Sangiovese from the Tuscan town of Montalcino.

Brunello di Montalcino is one of the great under-appreciated wines of Italy.  100% Sangiovese which undergoes an extended period of pre-fermentation maceration to extract maximum colour, flavour and tannins which affords the wine its ability to mature for long periods.  Brunello di Montalcino must be aged in oak - commonly Slavonian oak - for a minimum of 2 years, though traditionally winemakers would age their Brunellos in oak for at least 3 years prior to release.

Gould Campbell 1985 Vintage Port 3x75cl

Founded in 1797 by Irishman Garret Gould- who initially started trading as a Port shipper under the name Gould Brothers and Co, and acquired by the Symington family in 1970, Gould Campbell is an unusual Port house in that it doesn’t have Quintas (Vineyards) associated with it. It instead sources grapes from local farmers in the area around Pinhão and the Rio Torto in the heart of the Douro winemaking region

Guy Roulot 'Les Luchets' 1970 Meursault

Chardonnay from the single vineyard of Les Luchets within the iconic Burgundian appellation of Meursault.

Domaine Roulet was founded in 19830 by Guillaume Roulot. Guy Roulot was a legendary producer pioneering single-vineyard wines in Meursault. After the passing of Guy Roulot in 1982 the Domaine carried on with the help of three winemaker's until 1989 when it was taken over by his son, actor-winemaker Jean-Marc Roulot.

R. Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia 2008 Rioja Reserva

A Tempranillo dominant blend from the northern Spanish DOC of Rioja; Matured in oak barrels for approximately 6 years.

Established by Don Rafael López de Heredia in 1877, R. López de Heredia is one of the most well known and respected wineries in Rioja today. An interesting note- when the term \"Reserva\" was defined in the 1970s, the owner of Viña Tondonia, objected on the grounds that the new terms were too lenient - even his most basic wine far exceeding the \"Gran Reserva\" requirements - and so refused to use the new classifications on his labels.

Rioja is arguably Spain's top wine region and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Other than Tempranillo and Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan) are also used in the red wines of Rioja.

Rosemount 'Old Benson' Fine Old Tawny Port NV Australia 3x50cl

A non-vintage sweet, fortified wine from South Eastern Australia. Made in the same style as that of the famous Portuguese fortified wine, Port, produced in the Douro Valley.

Made from a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tokay grapes aged for an average of 10 years. 

Tawny Port is a particular style of Port in which the fortified wines are aged for a number of years in small oak casks.  This process of deliberate and careful oxidative maturation imparts typical characteristics of stewed fruits, nuts and leather. The wines do not age or improve further upon bottling.
