Marques De Murrieta \"Castillo Ygay\" 1978 Rioja Gran Reserva Especial 3x 75cl

Tempranillo dominant blend from the iconic Marques De Murrieta in the Rioja region of northern Spain. Castillo Ygay is the estate's flagship wine; Matured in American Oak barriques for a period in excess of the minimum 24 months required to classify as Gran Reserva.

Marqués de Murrieta is the oldest family winery based in Rioja, concentrating exclusively on the production of premium Reserva and Gran Reserva wines since 1852.

This 1978 vintage of their famous Gran Reserva Especial is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 12% Mazuelo (aka Carignan), 10 Garnacha Tinta and 3% Graciano: matured for an impressive 18 years (216 months) in American oak barrels.

1988 vintage Champagne from the renowned House of Ruinart.

Blanc-De-Blancs Champagne are made exclusively from the white grape variety, Chardonnay.

This is a 1.5 litre magnum bottle. Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Chardonnay from the Premier-Cru climat of Charmes within the Burgundian appellation of Meursault.

Remoissenet Pere & Fils was founded in 1877 in Beaune.
