Châ​teau Petrus 1961 Pomerol

Châ​teau Petrus is undisputedly the top wine estate in the Bordeaux right-bank appellation of Pomerol and rightly lays claim to being one of the most famous estates in the world of wine.  Unofficially recognised as a \"Premier Grand Cru\" (no such classification exists in Pomerol), Petrus is considered first-among-equals with the likes of Mouton- and Lafite-Rothschild in regards to both quality and iconic stature. As there is no second wine at Pétrus, where the declassified juice ends up is one of the wine world’s great mysteries.

Petrus is small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres) and produces its single-varietal wine entirely from Merlot grapes. Prior to 2010, small amounts of Cabernet Franc were used in some vintages. The wines are aged in 100% new oak barrels for an average of 20 months.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1969 La Tâche

Famed Burgundian Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti's monopole Grand Cru vineyard and appellation, La Tâche.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti or simply “DRC” is undoubtedly the most renowned in Burgundy. Their annual production of La Tâche is limited with only around 1,500 cases produced each year.

Château Haut-Brion 1969 Graves 1er-Grand-Cru 12x75cl

From the appellation of Pessac-Léognan (originally Graves before 1987), Château Haut-Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Médoc. Although Haut Brion was located in Graves (the other four are in the Médoc), the Château was recognised for the exceptional quality of its wines and has always merited its place amongst the finest wines of Bordeaux and indeed the world.

The wines of Château Haut-Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40-60% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc; matured in oak barrels (approximately 70-80% new) for 18-22 months.

Burgundian Pinot Noir from Premier Cru vineyards within the renowned appellation of Chambolle-Musigny.

The famed Domaine Comte de Vogüé was founded in Burgundy in 1450 by Jean Moisson. Modern history and the current label begin with the highly regarded Comte Georges de Vogüé who took over in 1925 and ran the domaine for an incredible 52 years. Today the domaine is headed by its 20th generation.

Krug 'Clos Du Mesnil' Blanc-de-Blancs Brut 1982 Vintage Champagne

1982 vintage Champagne from the iconic House of Krug. 

Clos du Mesnil is a rare Champagne from a small, single vineyard of the same name and is only produced in the very best of years. 

The renowned Champagne house of Krug was founded by Johann-Joseph Krug in 1843 and has since been in the hands of the family for six generations. 

Blanc-De-Blancs Champagne are made exclusively from the white grape variety, Chardonnay.

Château Montrose 2005 St-Estephe 2eme-Cru 12x75cl

Château Montrose is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and is frequently referred to as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\" - 2nd Growth wines of quality comparable to the 1st Growths.

Typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; Matured for approximately 18 months in 60% new French Oak barrels.

Old vine Marsanne from the single vineyard of De L'Orée located in the iconic northern Rhone Valley appellation of Hermitage (originally \"Ermitage\"). matured for 10-12 months in oak barrel.

Maison Chapoutier is without doubt one of the oldest and most renowned names in the Rhône producing some of the finest Hermitage. Today Chapoutier is both a negociant and wine maker and are active all over the Rhone valley in every major appellation owning close to 25% of the entire appellation.

Quinta Do Noval 1966 Vintage Port 12x75cl

Vintage Port is a specific style of Ruby Port which is made only in exceptional years and from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Established in 1715, Quinta do Noval is one of the only historic Port houses that bears the name of its renowned single vineyard- Quinta do Noval.

This 1966 vintage was bottled in 1968.

Château Léoville-Las Cases 2011 St-Julien 2eme-Cru 12x75cl

From the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Léoville-Las Cases is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 18-20 months in oak barrels of which up to 90% are new each year

Léoville-Las Cases was once part of a larger estate until the French Revolution when a portion was separated into what is today Château Léoville-Barton. In 1840, the estate was again divided and the land that would eventually become Château Léoville-Poyferré was split off. Since the mid 20th century the Delon family have been owners of this estate who are also owners of Châteaux Potensac and Nénin.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2006 St-Julien 2eme-Cru 12x75cl

From the appellation of Saint-Julien, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc, and frequently regarded as one of the leading \"Super Seconds\".

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured for approximately 18 months in 60%-70% new oak.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is one oldest estates in the Medoc dating back to the 13th century. The 75-hectare vineyard has an average vine age of 35 years, however, Ducru-Beaucaillou also has old vines. Their oldest plot is the Les Sadons parcel was planted all the way back in 1918.

Located in the Pauillac appellation, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

The wines of Château Pichon Lalande tend to feature a higher proportion of Merlot within their Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blends, than other estates within the Pauillac appellation; Matured in new French Oak barrels for approximately 18 months.

Pinot Noir from the small 1.3 hectare, Premier Cru vineyard of Les Procès within the Burgundian appellation of Nuits-Saint-Georges.

Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux, previously named Domaine Robert Arnoux, was established in 1858. Today, it is run by Charles Lachaux, who represents the family's sixth generation. The estates vines have an average age of 50 years.

Domaine René Engel \"Les Brulees\" 2002 Vosne-Romanée 1er-Cru

Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard of Les Brulees within the Burgundian appellation of Vosne-Romanée.

Domaine René Engel was sold in 2006 and was renamed, Domaine d’Eugenie. The last vintage under the Domaine René Engel name was released in 2004 and bottles under this old name are becoming increasingly rare and sought after.

Louis Roederer Cristal 2008 Vintage Champagne 3x75cl

Founded in 1776, the Louis Roederer Champagne house is one of the last great independent and family-run Champagne houses. Cristal is their flagship cuvée, created in 1876 for emperor Alexander II, tsar of Russia.

The historic Domaine de Lambrays is one of Burgundy’s oldest estates dating back to the 14th century. The Domaine is best known for its namesake vineyard, the Clos des Lambrays, which was granted grand cru status in 1981.

Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Rutherford, Napa Valley

Old vine Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend from the Rutherford AVA, located within California's renowned Napa Valley. Matured in 100% new oak barrels for 22 months.

Founded in 2002, Scarecrow produces world renowned Cabernet Sauvignon, in very limited quantities, that is often compared to that of Grand Cru quality wine. The grapes from the Scarecrow vineyard, in its formative years, were used to produce the acclaimed wines of Opus one, Insignia, Duckhorn and Inglenook.

William Fevre \"Les Preuses\" 2002 Chablis Grand-Cru 6x75cl

Chardonnay from the renowned Grand Cru vineyard of Les Preuses, within the iconic French appellation of Chablis; Matured for 14-15 months including 5-6 months on fine lees in French oak barrels for around half of the cuvée.

Chablis is one of the most well-known wine regions in France producing famous Chardonnay, which unlike other Chardonnay wines, rarely uses oak-ageing.

Château d'Yquem 1944 Sauternes 1er-Cru Supérieur

The famed Chateau d'Yquem's signature Sauternes wine is made with 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. These grapes are affected by noble rot, left on the vines until affected by the noble fungus, Botrytis Cinerea, which dehydrates the grapes to raisins, leaving only the sweet sugary pulp with which to make the most incredible sweet wine. With a yield limited to one glass per vine, Château d'Yquem is a Sauternes wine whose rareness contributes to its prestige.

One of the world’s most prized and enviable wines, Château d’Yquem is Sauternes’ only classified Premier-Cru-Supérieur, and recognised as one of the top wines of Bordeaux.
