Château Mouton Rothschild 1982
Château Mouton Rothschild was initially classified as a Second Growth estate in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, Baron Philippe de Rothschild successfully lobbied for its promotion to First Growth (Premier Cru Classé) status in 1973, making it the only estate to have been elevated to this elite status.
This 1982 vintage is made from a blend of: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 7% Merlot.
