Château La Tour de Mons is a Cru Bourgeois estate in the famed appellation of Margaux. The vineyard is planted to: 61% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc- a ratio in which the wine is roughly expected to follow with slight vintage variation.
The 58 hectare, single block vineyard lies on Garonne gravel and limestone-clay and covers 58 hectares (143 acres) in a single block.
